SFM-M Series Mulchers

COSMO FLS Series Flail Mowers are an ideal light-duty flail mower for lifestyle block farmers with compact and sub-compact tractors, 15 to 35hp. Front metal deflectors keep debris and other material under the mulcher and away from the tractor and operator. Height-adjustable replaceable skid plates and rear roller keep blades out of the dirt, protect the rotor and assist with implement longevity. The gearbox, with incorporated freewheel, produces a high 3000 rpm rotor speed that results in a superior cut on areas of lawn, parkland or smallholding farms.

The Fieldmaster range of GMS side discharge tractor mowers are available in 9 different widths. A huge range of modular options including wheels and rollers are available which ensures you receive a machine suitable for your specific vineyard or orchard conditions. Supplied standard as a side discharge mower with front stubbie rollers, rear roller and with our specially designed heavy duty axe blades which provide a significant hitting force obliterating pruning’s, trimmings and discharging the material out to the side of the mower and back under the rows. This provides an organic mulch and reduces the need for harmful sprays. Synchronised blade overlap also allows for excellent turning circles and manoeuvrability in restricted areas and headlands. Suitable for tractors 30-100HP.

The European designed COSMO SFM-H Series Mulchers have a gearbox rating up to 70hp. The gearbox has been fitted with a built-in freewheel which allows the rotor to slowly spin to a stop in the event that the PTO power is shut off while the PTO input is at speed. The tower of the SFM-H is hydraulically side shifting (up to 300mm), allowing the operator to shift the mulcher in and out to the side. This control is beneficial when mulching along fence lines or under tree branches and vines. The rear of the deck has a series of removable, height adjustable mulching rakes that hold large pruning's (up to Ø 50mm) in the cutting chamber for maximum mulching, which along with the high-speed rotor, four belt drive and hammer blades produce a high-quality cut finish in vineyards, orchards and pastures.
